10 Year Old Arrested For THIRD Time?!

Was a 10-Year-Old Driving a Stolen Car Near a Playground? Sure looks like it.

The incident took place on Sept 20th, when a 10-year-old boy was caught on video driving a stolen car outside a local school, while the playground was crowded. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

According to ABC 7 NY, the young boy was taken into custody at the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center. This marks his third arrest, and he is also a suspect in a dozen other cases, including auto theft, robbery, and assault with a dangerous weapon. It’s hard to fathom how a 10-year-old could already have so many criminal charges.

Police Chief Brian O’Hara said “It is unfathomable that a 10-year-old boy has been involved in this level of criminal activity without effective intervention. Prison is not an acceptable option for a 10-year-old boy. But the adults who can stop this behavior moving forward must act now to help this child and his family.” The boy’s family is reportedly cooperating and seeking support to prevent any further harm or danger.

Here’s the video! I gotta say, he seemed to have a pretty good idea what he was doing (other than the driving in a playground part).
