Man accused of Misha Pavelick’s murder appears in court

A man accused in a 2006 death northwest of Regina appeared in court today.

The man, now 34, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder in June in the death of Misha Pavelick at a high school graduation party.

Pavelick was stabbed and killed while attending the gathering near Last Mountain Lake during the May long weekend in 2006.

The appearance was in youth court and the suspect can’t be named because he was 17 at the time.

The case has been adjourned until next month.
