The RCMP have issued an alert, after shots were fired at a home in the RM of Brittania.

Police say the gunfire came from a black, late model Ford Mustang.  People in Maidstone, and the surrounding area are being told to take shelter immediately, and stay in that secure location.

Police have not said if there were any injuries, but they DO NOT believe this is connected to the on going search for the suspect in the mass stabbing Sunday at James Smith Cree Nation, and the Village of Weldon.

This is the third alert from police, on three different incidents, in three days in Saskatchewan.
