238 new COVID-19 cases in Sask; 152 in hospital

As of January 3, a total of 3,866 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine have been provided to health care workers in Regina and Saskatoon.

There are 238 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 16,083 cases.

Notable case numbers include 50 in the North Central, 42 in Saskatoon, and 39 in Far North East, with 20 in Regina.

A total of 13,084 individuals have recovered and 2,841 cases are considered active.

152 people are in hospital. 114 people are receiving inpatient care, and 38 people are in intensive care.
