Two people are being treated for burns, after an early morning house fire in Regina.

Just before 4 am this morning Regina Fire responded to the 15-Hundred block of Athol Street, just up from Dewdney.

On arrival there was smoke coming from the house. Firefighters managed to get all three people inside out, and rescue two cats as well.

The fire was quickly brought under control, and contained to the main floor. The cause is under investigation.
