The Regina Police Service raided several homes in the city as part of a recent investigation into gangs.  One of the homes police went to, is the “clubhouse” of the outlaw motorcycle gang “The Rock Machine”.

Nine search warrants were used, and in the end, charges have been laid against six people.  Included in that, are 30 year old Ian Brice Simpson, 35 year old Kelly Ryan Powell, and 31 year old Darwin Mogenson all of Regina.  Simpson and Powell are also facing charges under the criminal code, that relate to committing a crime, while a member of a gang.

Police say they uncovered:

• $12,700 cash;
• 7 Firearms and ammunition;
• 320 grams of cocaine;
• 19 grams of methamphetamine;
• 6 motorcycles, 5 vehicles and 1 heavy equipment skid steer loader;
• multiple cellular devices; and
• evidence supporting vehicle thefts and fraudulent re-vinning processes (Changing the VIN).

All three of the people mentioned, have made their first court appearances.
