Heavy Work on McCarthy In Regina

As if the commute from the west and north west wasn’t interesting enough, here comes some more roadwork

Thursday morning, the city is starting work on McCarthy Boulevard between Dewdney and Brunskill Place.

In a release the city says the work will be completed in two phases, starting with concrete and paving work in the northbound lanes.

Single-lane, two-way traffic will be maintained during phase one. Delays are expected, so drivers may want to consider alternative routes.

Phase one is anticipated to be completed in four weeks, weather dependent.  The project is expected to cost 1.1 million dollars and will improve the road surface, as well as the sidewalks.
