SARM seeks government relief from rising fuel costs

The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities is calling on the federal and provincial governments to provide relief from soaring fuel costs.

President Ray Orb says Rural Municipalities are facing financial issues because of the rising cost of road repair and maintenance linked to soaring fuel costs.

Orb is hoping the province will provide some sort of relief from rising fuel costs.

He also wants Ottawa to trim the carbon tax on fuel.
