Six farm research projects across Saskatchewan have been approved for 484 thousand dollars in funding from the federal and provincial governments.
The funding is through a program which offers support for field-level demonstrations and evaluation of agriculture practices and technologies.
Successful projects this year will be conducted by the University of Regina, U of S, South East Research Farm, Judd Street Associates crop consulting services, Spencer Horticultural Solutions and the Saskatchewan Stock Growers Association.
Provincial agricultural research funding this year is a record 33.8 million dollars.
