CP Rail investigating derailment near Drinkwater

An investigation continues this morning into a train derailment near the village of Drinkwater, which is located on Highway 39, southwest of Regina.

Canadian Pacific Railway officials said the freight train was hauling corn when it derailed yesterday morning.

There were no injuries and no public safety concerns, C.P. said.

Drinkwater is located approximately 50 kilometres south west of Regina.
