A letter from two premiers, and the governors of 16 US states is making its way to the desks of US President Joe Biden, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The letter calls on both governments to end the vaccination mandates for truckers who cross between the two countries.

Premier Scott Moe, and Alberta’s Jason Kenney have signed the letter, saying the mandate is causing supply chain issues.

There are key signatures missing from the document, including the premiers of BC, Ontario and Quebec, along with the governors of key border states like Washington, Michigan and New York.

All of the 16 governors who signed, are Republicans.
