Carmichael Outreach in need of Mitts and Gloves

With temperatures dropping to dangerous levels across the province – there are those in the Regina who find themselves in an incredibly vulnerable position this time of year.
Carmichael Outreach Center knows the plight of those in need during record breaking cold temperatures.
Aurora Marinari – the development coodinator  for the center says the demand is high, and donations are needed.
“We get alot of donations for women, which is great – but what we really need are items for men. Gloves, toques, warm sweaters. Donations of all of these items are needed”
In these cold temperatures, the outreach center does offer an opportunity to warm up in the centers boutique. People who need to warm up are encouraged to come to the center, shop in their
boutique, have a coffee and get out of the cold.
If you’d like to contribute to the program – please drop off your new or gently used mitts to the outreach center’s side door at 1510 12th avenue between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
