Sask. reports 502 cases of COVID-19 on Saturday 402 of those in unvaccinated individuals 14 in partially vaccinated people

Saskatchewan reported 502 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday.

Of the new cases, 402 are in people who are unvaccinated and 14 are in partially vaccinated individuals.

Five more deaths in individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 have also been reported, bringing the death toll in Saskatchewan to 746.

Of the new cases Saturday, the Saskatoon zone again reported the most with 124, followed by Regina with 81.

There were 301 more recoveries, but the active case count in the province is up by 106 to 4,798.

Hospitalizations have decreased by 11, there are currently 332 people in hospitals with COVID-19 in the province, that includes 78 in ICUs.

On the vaccine front, 5,681 more doses of COVID-19 vaccine was administered in Saskatchewan, that includes 2,964 first doses.

There are now 751,905 people fully vaccinated in Saskatchewan.
