SaskParty MLA Nadine Wilson resigns after misrepresenting vaccination status

A SaskParty MLA is stepping down from caucus

The SaskParty says Saskatchewan Rivers MLA Nadine Wilson has resigned after misrepresenting her vaccine status, according to a caucus news release.

While Premier Moe has accepted her resignation from caucus, it is not known if she will continue to serve as an MLA.

A release says all other 47 SaskParty MLA’s are fully vaccinated. The NDP had previously stated all of its 13 MLA’s were fully vaccinated.

Wilson had been the deputy speaker. She has served as the MLA for Saskatchewan Rivers since 2007 and will now be considered as an independent.

Premier Moe will be discussing this Thursday afternoon as an availability has been scheduled in Saskatoon.
