Those wanting to visit loved ones in long term care homes will now need to wear a mask at all times regardless of their vaccination status.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority announced the changes Monday morning as it aligns with the provincial Public Health Order.
Long-term care residents will not be required to wear a mask in their own rooms, but they are encouraged to wear them in hallways and common areas.
Free medical grade masks will be provided at screening stations when entering a long-term care home.
Those refusing to comply with the mask requirements may be asked to leave the facility.
