PCC inviting people to first-ever Busker Festival at Wascana Centre on Saturday

The walking path in Wascana Centre will be full of live music and entertainment Saturday afternoon.

The Provincial Capital Commission is inviting families to come down and watch the busking as part of it’s first ever live Busker Festival.

Performances will be around the Wascana Lake walking path between 11:30 and 4:00.

Ten performers including a jazz flutist, a fiddler and a rock-singer will be spread around the path at various times.

Marie-Veronique (MV) Bourque Singer and flutist playing unique interpretations of jazz. 1:15 Broad Street Promenade

Amber Jack Fish Duo playing bluegrass, Métis, Celtic and Old Time music. 2:00 Bandstand area

Justin Sutton Northern Alberta-based solo singer-songwriter. 2:15 Broad Street Promenade

Ellen Froese Solo artist performing a range from folk traditional, rock ‘n’ roll classics or her own compositions. 2:30 Legislative landing

Kris Dominic Papa Estevan-based soloist playing guitar instrumental using backing tracks and guitar loops from 90s music. 3:45 Broad Street Promenade
