The government is telling us there were 420 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday as the province goes over 400 new cases for the second time in three days. There were also three new deaths bringing the provincial total to 621.
The new cases are located in the Far North West (7), Far North East (28), North West (46), North Central (65), North East (26), Saskatoon (146), Central West (14), Central East (17), Regina (24), South West (9), South Central (7) and South East (13) zones and 18 new cases have pending residence information. The active case count now sits at 3,744

Hospitalizations are still inching towards 200 as there are 198 people in hospital across the province with 45 in the ICU. Last week at this time, there were 138 people in hospital with 20 in the ICU. Of the 198, the province says 154 are not fully vaccinated.
The 7-day average of new cases was 369 (30.6 per 100,000 people).
2,517 vaccines were handed out Saturday with 1,413 of those going to people who have now had both shots and are considered fully vaccinated.
