130 new cases of COVID-19 are being reported by the province on Saturday. That is the highest number of cases Saskatchewan has had since June 3 when 130 cases were also reported. This puts the active case count at 628.
Saskatoon had the most new cases with 38. Others were diagnosed in the Far northwest (14), Far north central (3), Far northeast (13), northwest (6), north central (14), northeast (4), west central (4), east central (5), Regina (9), southwest (2), south central (4), and southeast zone (10).
There are 60 people in hospital because of the virus including 12 patients in the ICU.
3,491 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered. 2,599 of those were second doses.
