Earlier this week Jess and I got into an argument about the right way to say Toronto. I said you say Toronto without the last T, she disagreed! Thankfully Oliver, who’s from Toronto, called in to clear things up for us!

This got me thinking about the way people from outside the province pronounce Saskatchewan! Everyone that’s from here says, WIN at the end, which of course is the correct way to say it. Then, you have people from outside the province saying WAN at the end. It makes sense because that’s the way it’s spelt, but when I hear it, it drives me nuts. I’m sure people who live in Toronto feel the same way when people say their city name incorrectly!
