The final list of approved candidates have been announced for the three provincial byelections happening in southern Saskatchewan.
There are five candidates each for Regina Coronation Park and Lumsden-Morse, while four are vying for the Regina Walsh Acres Constituency.
Regina Coronation Park:
- Noor Burki, New Democratic Party (N. D. P.)
- Olasehinde Ben Adebayo, Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan
- Kendra Anderson, Saskatchewan Green Party
- Riaz Ahmad, Saskatchewan Party
- Reid Hill, Sask Progress
Lumsden-Morse:
- Les Guillemin, Buffalo Party of Saskatchewan
- Kaitlyn Stadnyk, New Democratic Party (N. D. P.)
- Isaiah Hunter, Saskatchewan Green Party
- Blaine McLeod, Saskatchewan Party
- Jon Hromek, Saskatchewan United Party
Regina Walsh Acres:
- Jared Clarke, New Democratic Party (N. D. P.)
- Rose Buscholl, Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan
- Joseph Reynolds, Saskatchewan Green Party
- Nevin Markwart, Saskatchewan Party
Elections Saskatchewan announced there will have been 370 vote by mail applications approved so far, and that nearly all election jobs have been filled.
August 1 is the vote by mail application deadline
Voting will be held August 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10.
A total of 36,757 voter information cards are in the mail to residents in the three constitiuencies.
