Saskatchewan Liberal Party becomes Saskatchewan Progress Party

The Saskatchewan Liberal Party has undergone a transformation and emerged as the Saskatchewan Progress Party.

With a fresh name and brand, the Sask Progress Party is presenting itself as a viable alternative to the two historic political brands in the province – the New Democrats and the Saskatchewan Party.

The party logo is now a yellow, blue and red “hypnotic” swirl –  something party leader Jeff Walters says “symbolizes the force that brings people together to unite the province beyond divisive politics,.”

In a media release Walter’s continues – “We want to build a bright future that sees all people of Saskatchewan working together to make our province a place to call home.”

The release details the next steps for the party. Over the next few months –  Sask Progress will meet with people from across the province to hear about the things that concern them.

A convention will be held in October to review current policies. The Party says policies will be based on input from all of Saskatchewan and will “make a better life for all”.
