CFA hopes for strong farm input in federal sustainability farming consultation process

The Canadian Federation of Agriculture is hoping farmers will have significant involvement in a federal study on the future of farming.
Ottawa has launched an on-line consultation process on sustainable farming to the end of March.
Federation of Agriculture vice president Todd Lewis of Grey says the CFA is co-chairing the consultation and wants good farm input.
The federal government is hoping a new sustainable farming policy can be in place by the end of 2023.
