The provincial government has announced an official distribution date for the affordability cheques.
All Saskatchewan residents who are ages 18 and older as of December 31, 2022, who have filed a tax return for the 2021 tax year will receive a one-time $500 Saskatchewan Affordability Tax Credit (SATC) cheque.
As of November 14, roughly 900,000 cheques will begin to be mailed out.
Moe announced in August through social media that the government is sending out these cheques to help residents deal with the rising costs of inflation.
