A large grass fire kept fire fighters and others very busy around the Weyburn area.

The fire was five kilometres west of Weyburn Wednesday afternoon, and forced the closure of Highway #13 for safety reasons.

Just before 6:30 last night, the highway was re-opened.  There are no details about the fire, how large it became, or how long it took to put out.
