A woman charged with faking the disappearance of herself and her son, will be in court today for a bail hearing.

The 48 year old is facing charges of mischief and child abduction. She and her son disappeared in July touching off a huge, well publicized search. They were found two weeks later in Oregon City, Oregon after slipping across the US border. She was charged with using a false document to enter the US, but the courts returned her to Canada to face the charges in Saskatoon.

She told the US court she was facing domestic abuse at home.

The court ordered a publication ban on her name, and any details of the case because it could identify her seven year old son.
