A farm couple from Elrose are in the running for a major national environmental award.
Gerald and Patti Anhorn from Elrose are Saskatchewan’s nominees for the Environment Stewardship Award co-ordinated through the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association.
Gerald Anhorn is honored be nominated for the award.
Anhorn says his land practices include rotational grazing, wildlife friendly fencing, and water development.
The Anhorns are one of six nominees from across Canada, with the winner announced Wednesday in B.C. at a beef industry conference.
