A sad conclusion to a story from yesterday.

The body of a missing five year old boy was found near the residence where he went missing.

Saskatchewan RCMP had issued a news release late Friday asking for public assistance to find the child, noting he was autistic.

An update later in the afternoon said the boy had been found dead near his home, which is about five kilometres outside of the town of Hudson Bay.

They say their investigation has determined his death is not suspicious.
