After months of investigation into drug trafficking and possession of stolen property, a 32-year-old Regina man was arrested and faces a number of charges.

Thirty-two-year-old Kirk Carmichael Szakacs of Regina was arrested after driving while prohibited, and police searched a rented garage in the 2700 block of Atkinson Street.

Szakacs is charged with, among other things, five counts of possession of a firearms and ammunition while prohibited, a stolen motorcycle, various pieces of identification not belonging to the suspect, and cocaine.

Szakacs made his first appearance on the charges earlier this week.
