TeleMiracle a Saskatchewan tradition returns to TV’s around the province for it’s 46th year.
Since it’s inception in 1977 the telethon has raised more than $145 million dollars. Donations stay right here in the province and help members of the community improve independence and quality of life.
Each year the telethon brings talent from across Saskatchewan together, encouraging viewers to ‘RING THOSE PHONES” with donations.
Steve Kirwan – TeleMiracle chair says the event is very important to the people of Saskatchewan.
“All of the money raised stays right here in Saskatchewan. We have a team of 20 people who help decide how to disperse the funds so they get to those who need it most”
Kirwan says this year the event will see a return to some sense of normalcy as their will be more entertainment acts from around the province participating than in the two previous years given the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 50 Saskatchewan entertainers are set to take the stage bringing talent from every corner of the province.
The broadcast airs March 5th and 6th – hosts for the 46th year will include Beverly Mahood, Brad Johner, Jeffrey Straker, Jess Moskaluke, Glenn Suitor and Tik Tok sensations Bella and Kyla Thomson.
