When the Canadian Country Music Association hands out its 2021 awards in London, Ontario this November, there will be a distinct Saskatchewan flavour to the show as three of this province’s top exports to the Canadian country music scene have been nominated.
Langenburg’s Jess Moskaluke is up for three awards including top female artist, songwriter of the year and top video for “Mapdot.” Weyburn’s Tenille Arts is also nominated in the top female artist category and Fan’s Choice Award, while the Hunter Brothers from Shaunavon are nominated in the group of the year category and top video for “Hard Dirt.”
The big award of the night will be for entertainer of the year. The nominees for that are Dean Brody, Brett Kissel, Mackenzie Porter, the Reklaws and Dallas Smith.
