A Moose Jaw man is $411,000 richer thanks to Lotto Max.

David Danchilla went to the 7-11 on 13th Avenue Northwest on the day after the June 13th draw to check his ticket and was stunned when he scanned the ticket.

“When I first saw the amount on the screen I couldn’t believe it,” he said while claiming his prize at the Regina prize office. “I think I was in shock.

“Honestly, I think I was in shock for about three days after checking the ticket,” he laughed.

The happy winner said he has two plans for his winnings: investing and paying for a very special day.

“My partner and I have been together for over 34 years,” he said. “We have been planning our wedding for a while now, so some of the money will go toward our wedding day. It’s going to be quite the party, that’s for sure!”

Danchilla had all but one of the seven main draw numbers and the bonus number on the June 22 draw
