A major repair is coming to Regina’s City Hall.
A tender issued last week by the City says the building’s roof needs to be entirely replaced, as it is beyond its useful life.
Most of the roof goes back to when the 17-storey building was first built in 1975.
There are two different timetables for the repair according to the city.
One would see the work start in early September with everything being done before Christmas, with the second option seeing work start in early December, and be done by March 18, 2022.
The cost of the project is not known at this time.
