Regina Police say a 21-year-old man is facing numerous charges after evading police and then failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
Around 1:15 p.m. Monday afternoon, officers attempted to make a traffic stop on Broad Street, after initial slowing down the vehicle then drove away down Broadway Avenue.
Police say moments later the vehicle ran a red light at Broadway and Winnipeg Street, striking a southbound vehicle, before hitting a light standard and bus shelter before coming to a stop.
The driver then tried to flee on foot but was apprehended a short time later.
Twenty-one-year-old David Jack Mock, has been charged with failing to stop after an accident, resisting arrest and two counts of flight from a peace officer.
Police say no one was injured.
