The City of Regina is extending free parking downtown while picking up food and merchandise from shops until May 10th.
While parking may be free, the two-hour parking limit remains in effect. Drivers who park at a meter for longer than two hours will be ticketed.
If you’re staying downtown for longer than two hours, people are being encouraged to move their car to another block, park at an off-street location, or use public transit.
