Regina Police say there were no serious injuries, but neither vehicle was able to drive away from a collision involving one of their cruisers on the weekend.
An unmarked RPS vehicle was proceeding southbound on Albert Street through 6th Avenue.
It was struck by a Honda CRV, which initially stopped at a stop sign, but then proceeded westbound on 6th Avenue at Albert Street.
The Honda struck the rear of the police vehicle on the driver’s side, spinning it into a snow bank.
The female officer suffered minor injuries when the airbags deployed, but was checked and released by EMS at the scene.
The 38 year-old man driving the Honda was issued a traffic ticket ($230.) for proceeding from the stop sign before it was safe to do so.
