The City of Regina continues snow removal on high priority streets like Albert, Broad and Lewvan on Monday.

The City is also asking motorists to avoid parking on high priority streets, as well as more busy secondary streets like Elphinstone, Broadway and Regina Avenue.

Streets around polling stations for Monday’s election were cleared early in the morning.

The City also says some services such as garbage and recycling pickup may be delayed today, they’re also asking residents using Regina Transit to check online for possible delays to various routes.

Snowfall totals are estimated to be between 20 to 50 cm, depending on your location in the province, in a release the City says Regina has received at least 10 cm.

Environment Canada has yet to release an official summary of snowfall totals.

Meanwhile the City of Swift Current has announced that its civic election has been moved to Thursday due to the weather.
